It’s been a minute since I last wrote. Trying to let the stories build up so I have a deeper comment to make. This installment though is a prickly one for touching on underage abortion. Believably difficult. No matter how safe for the woman it can be made there’s still the moral position of choosing not to bring a new life into this world. You present a frighten young girl without an adult support or guidance facing a life altering decision. Sara, hasn’t even spoken with the other half of this issue in, Skater Ray! Trying to resolve the unwanted pregnancy through, Will’s, ex machina powers is an easy and obvious option. Glad you showed how close, Will, came to acting before he realizes the bigger implications. Will’s, shaping up to be a very wise. Sara, has every right to be the final vote on the outcome of her unplanned pregnancy but she needs to at least loop, Ray, in too. Hopefully her asking, Will, to help won’t damage their bond.
As before looking forward to more of these tales! The unexplained bits and dropped events are great fun to speculate on. Enjoying the ranging art styles too; keep it fresh. Thanks.
Hey, it’s so nice to hear from you!
Yes, this was a tricky chapter and I had many doubts about going ahead with it. It’s been a story that I’ve had in my head for a long time. You might think, do Sara’s actions make her a bad person? But she’s still young and young people can make desperate, snap decisions (as can older people).
So I would say that we don’t know what Sara actually did next, and I will be revealing it by the end of the volume 🙂
